4. COURSES FOR EXCHANGE STUDENT FOR 2002 ACADEMIC YEAR

Soongsil University operates exchange students program which provides an opportunity to foreign students around the globe. Under reciprocal exchange agreement between Universities, that is for foreign students to study at Soongsil for credit while paying fees at their home institution, foreign students are able to seek to study at Soongsil as an exchange student for one semester or full academic year.

For eligible students, the application process is advised to initiate through their home universities' international exchange office.

A. COURSE LIST

    SPRING SEMESTER 2002

    <Required Courses>
    • 1. English Chapel (No credit - Pass/Fail) / Tues. 5 / Rev. Han Kyoung Shik Memorial Hall
    • 2. Introduction to Korean Language (In Korean - 2 credits) / Language Center
      This course is to teach Foreign Exchange Student reading, writing, listening and
      speaking in Korean. This course is composed of steps from basic system of Korean letters to simple conversation. Students must have tests twice mid-term and final examination.

      English Courses : Not fixed yet for Fall Semester 2002.

B. GRADE SYSTEM

    Students cannot take courses over 19 credits per semester and during Academic year over 38 credits.
